Morning Coffee is an online daily devotional. Renae works through the Bible verse by verse chapter by chapter sharing insights to help people fall in love with Jesus and learn to follow Him with all their hearts. Each post is discussed and shared.

In November of 2000,  Mike moved to Russia to help establish a Russian Charity named MIR.  A year later he married Olga.  They now live in Russia and spend time in other countries.  Mike the Executive Director of Stoneworks International, a Christian mission organization that works in Russia, Belarus and Montenegro.

The fun part of this site is the photo in the header. It changes on each page from photos that Mike has taken during his travels. This site also takes advantage of the Cool Iris plugin for Firefox. Mike has taken full advantage of Wordpress’ media capabilities. You will notice many photos, albums and videos on his site.

There are two ways to insert a hyperlink into a Wordpress site.

Way #1 Blogroll

One way is by adding a link to the blogroll. This puts a link on the sidebar on every page on your site.

Way #2 Inline Hyperlink

The better way is to insert the link into a post. Typing out a domain like www.ThomasUmstattd.com without making it a link is unprofessional.

The better way is to make the text link directly. So instead of putting www.ThomasUmstattd.com you would put Thomas Umstattd.

How to insert a link in Wordpress:

1. Go to the web page you want to link to.
2. Copy the URL. It should start with “http://”
3. Write the text you want to be a hyperlink. It is good to be descriptive and avoid the phrase “click here”
4. Select the text.
5. Click the make link button in Wordpress. It looks like this
6. Paste the URL from step one into the link field.
   It looks like this:
   
7. Then click insert.

Your link should turn blue like other links around the web.
